Scientific testing for every athlete and coach.
Time4Test turns raw split times and field audio pacing into actionable physiological baselines — eliminating manual calculations, paper tally sheets, and post-session spreadsheets.
The origin of Time4Test
Standardized fitness testing protocols like VAMEVAL, Yo-Yo IR1, and the Léger Bleep Test are recognized worldwide for scientific validity. Yet in practice, coaches still juggle CD players, worn stopwatches, clipboards in the rain, and paper sheets. Time4Test consolidates this entire workflow into a smartphone.
Protocol fidelity
We implement published sports science methodologies without alteration or shortcutting. Stage velocity ramp-ups, turnaround shuttle cadences, and rest recovery intervals mirror the exact peer-reviewed literature.
0.01s timing precision
All countdown audio, stage whistles, and countdown pacing signals are synthesized with sub-millisecond hardware clocks, eliminating audio latency and ensuring stadium-grade optical accuracy.
Mathematical transparency
No black-box algorithms or manufactured vanity metrics. Every equation used to estimate VO2max, Maximal Aerobic Speed (MAS / VMA), and fatigue index is fully documented and open to coach inspection.
Offline-first & zero video upload
All 40+ protocols operate 100% offline on remote tracks or fields. When utilizing camera-based timing, image processing runs strictly in local device memory with zero video frames ever sent to cloud servers.
Engineering & leadership
Time4Test is engineered by Boudjelida Mohamed Amar. We work closely with coaches, sports scientists, and athletic directors to build the definitive field testing software. Reach out directly at support.time4test@gmail.com.
